MATLAB and Simulink is used for complex controls development, testing and deployment to target controllers. This allows us to virtually eliminate all risks associated with control algorithm development and reduces commissioning time in the field by thoroughly testing in a simulation environment against process models prior to field deployment. We also use MATLAB/Simulink to perform loop and table tuning while in the field by collecting data in real time from the process.
